I've been studying the designers' bios on www.bravotv.com and I found that several already have collections available. So here are 3 designers I think you should pay special attention to, based on their existing work:
Emily of Sacramento, Ca.— I love the cut of her dresses, her use of plaids and sheers, and the playful sexiness of her fall/winter 2008 collection. Check it out: www.smokeandmirrorsclothing.com
Jerry of Butte, Montana — First, I love that he's from Montana. So unexpected. Here are some examples of his line, FORM, for spring 2009:
And Leane of Yuta, Ca. — so far, she's my favorite. Check out the construction of these pieces — outstanding!!
Now, as I said, these are the only designers I could find previews for...so don't judge my taste too quicly! We shall see how these 3 fair after the first show. Look for an update soon!!
